Overview
The Wilson 301119 Dual Band 'Trucker' Antenna - Roof Mount is a dual band antenna with 5.12 / 6.12 dB of gain. It can be used with one of the amplifiers on our site, or connect directly to your phone with an adapter cable (see below). The antenna is made of stainless steel and is fully weather-proof.
Installation:
The Wilson 301119 is an omni-directional antenna. Omni-directional antennas receive signal from all directions, and so the antenna needs to be installed in a vertical position in the area of strongest signal.
Mounting details:
The Wilson 301119 uses a 5/8 inch x 7 inch Threaded Mounting Rod mount.
Roof Mount Antennas mount through the non-metallic roof of boats and vehicles such as RVs, fifth-wheels, and trailers. Some of these types of vehicles have fiberglass or rubber roofs.
Direct connect option:
You can also use the Wilson 301119 instead of your phone's standard antenna, by attaching the 301119 to your phone's external antenna port. Most phones have these ports, and all you need to make it work is a Wilson adapter cable.
